MODERN RUSSIAN FAIRYTAILE

The inspiration for this project comes from the wonderful illustrations in a book for little girls, in which the heroine breaks the curse that has turned the prince into an ice statue, thanks to the help of the spirits inside the matryoshka doll given to her by her grandmother: a bear, a wolf and a phoenix, who respectively bring back spring, the moon (by dispelling the clouds), and the sun.
Traditional fairy tales and Russian iconography provide the inspiration for a romantic and nostalgic wedding, in a unique setting that seems to embody and harmonise history and modernity.
